Workshop #1 (March 5th)– Cultural Affirmation and Student Success
Culture plays a crucial role in shaping students’ academic success and well-being. Join Dr. Wendy Ochoa, Professor at San Diego State University and leader of It Takes a Village, for an insightful workshop exploring how cultural affirmation fosters student achievement and confidence. Parents will gain practical strategies to reinforce cultural strengths at home and in school, helping their children thrive.
Workshop #2 (March 18th)– Career Options After High School
What comes after high school? College, trade school, community college—there are many pathways! Join Dr. Wendy Ochoa, Professor at San Diego State University and leader of It Takes a Village, for an informative workshop where parents will learn about the various options available for their children and gain valuable guidance on how to support them in making informed decisions about their future.
